Web Project Management Process:
- Workshop Objective: Gather your requirements for your site, brian storming, target audience, site structure, design and development
- Product Specification Document: after the workshop, the product specification document is created by our design and development. This will contain all the requirements from the workshop. Outline Wireframes/Design and Development
- Product Specification Document Review and Signoff: the product specification document will then be emailed to you. Once you have reviewed this and happy, you can sign off. The project will then move to concept design phase.
- Concept Design: our designers will then create the design for your website. This will be delivered as an image, with the structure, colour palette. Generally the look and feel of the site will be captures here.
- Concept Review and Signoff: the concept design will then be emailed to you. The email will contain hyperlink linking to the design prototype. During this phase you have one set of concept edits. The project manager will setup a conference call for you to discuss edits with our designers. Once you are happy with the concept it will be signed off and the project will move to the next phase.
Client Testing and Edits Phase:
- Design and Development Production: the concept will then move into design cutup and development. During this phase the project manager will liaise with you in regards to the following:
content - it is important that content is delivered as early as possible.
hosting - web and domain hosting.
- Internal QA: once design and development is completed, the website will move into an internal testing phase. This will be tested across all browsers, all functionality of the website will be tested.
- Alpha Release and Alpha Edits: the website will be sent to you as a hyperlink via email. This link will be your test site. You have the ability here to navigate through the website, identify any issues (alpha edits).
- Beta Release and Beta Edits: after the alpha edits have been completed, we beta release the website to you. Here you can identify any other issues (beta edits). If you are happy you can sign off, and the website project will move to the next phase.
- Site Release: the website will be handed over to the client for final signoff. A date will be arranged for it to go live.
- Go Live: the website will be launched live on the web.
